COLOUR OF THE YEAR 2020

The 2020 Pantone Colour of the Year is Classic Blue.

“When we look at the world around us, we know that we’re living with a lot of unrest, where some days we don’t feel quite as secure....Blue, from an emotional, psychological standpoint, has always represented a certain amount of calm and dependability. It’s a color that you can rely on.”

This colour brings us memories about a project we did back in 2016. At the time the interior design trends were #eclectic, #urbanjungle and #brass.

The project involved the design, refurbishment and fit-out of a holiday apartment in sunny Malaga, Spain. The apartment was flooded with natural light so we could afford being bold with the finishes: royal blue, exposed brick and walnut timber dominated the palette. Glazed white added some sparkle.

We are glad to know that a project we did more than 4 years ago is still trending in 2020!
